Tasmania Roadtrip - Week 5 - Custom House

Customs House was built in 1902 and the building now is home to Tasmania's Museum and Art Gallery and herbarium. It is in a great location in the heart of Hobart's Maritime precinct, just a few steps from the docks, Salamanca Markets and Battery Point. This precinct is one of Australia's most historically significant and includes Tasmania's oldest surviving public building, the 1808-10 Commissariat Store.
